Hi everyone! My name is Angie Goodloe.

Mom~ Herbalist~ Storyteller

My goal for authentic mama is not only to share my personal life but also to inspire and empower other women to become more healthy, strong and vibrant!

A little about me…

I have two amazing children – Ella 6 and Wyatt 4 as of this writing. I am a single authentic mama.

We strive to live a more sensuous, deliberate, earthy existence at our new home in Corbett, Oregon.

I embrace getting in touch with the earth that produces our food, herbal medicine, and spending time with the people I love.

Me and the kids love to get outside and get moving, enjoy nature, tell stories, and work with our hands.

I love to read almost everything I can get my hands on (ok I am a bookaholic). I also enjoy writing ( all types- articles, stories, and yes even writing for business).

I hope you enjoy my blog about my simple (and sometimes not so simple) life.

Short professional Bio:

I am a self taught herbalist (constantly learning & growing) who also has a Master Herbalist diploma from The American College Of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS). I love herbalism because I feel there is always something new to learn from the plants. I teach basic herbal online courses here on the blog and have also taught at universalclass.comwww.kidsandherbs.com. I enjoy writing and love to help others find ways to turn their passions into a career online.

I also have a certificate in holistic nutrition from ACHS. I have experience as a wellness director and sales manager, nutrition consultant, personal trainer & aerobics instructor.

I received my massage license (LMT #10528) from East West College in Portland Or. in 2002.

What others are saying:

“What a difference Herbalist 101, and Angie Goodloe made in my life. 1 and 1/2 years ago I was sitting at my accounting desk, taking herbalist 101 tests during my lunch break. Today, I am an artist and Holistic Practitioner, with knowledge in Herbalism, Folk and Food remedies, Supplements and their benefits, (or not), Wellness Coaching, and I have taken a nutrition course as well. To top it off, I am being Yoga cetified on the 19th of this month and my artwork has started to sell very well. This, I credit to the teaching style and wonderful soul of Angie Goodloe. If I had not taken her class first, I do not think I would have continued my education like I did. Of all the classes I have taken thus far, hands down, Herbalist 101 was the best. Angie truly cares, you are not a number, she wants to hear from you always, and instills a confidence in her students. She reads everything you write in your assignments. It is this quality in her that made me continue to educate myself, confident enough to eventually quit my day job, and do this. You will benefit from just know her. Sincerely, Laura Cantrell”
