I am really looking forward to planting my first herb garden. I have been researching on line. Just waiting to get over a flu that I caught.

Our gardens are outside. We don't really have enough light inside to grow much besides a few houseplants. We do start seedlings under grow lamps. I'll start those in another 3 weeks or so.

Outside I have chives, oregano, catmint, apple mint, chocolate mint, comfrey, thyme, sage, etc. I'll be planting some basil as well this year.

I have gardens outside. My animals do not leave the indoor plants alone. the first thing I would plant is Sage and and rosemary! I love sage on fish. If I mix the sage and rosemary together it keeps my gray hair from coming back. I just mix the two with water, put it on my hair until it dries and rinse it out. I takes about a month but if you keep going with it, it works great! Spearmint, is another one I love, i don't use it in cooking much, I just love the smell. Chives are a necessity, I use them in everything. Thyme and lavender would definitely be on my list because they help digestion. There are so many, I better get planning!
